Today, from 8:30 pm, Freiriz is celebrating as part of the 17th ADC May Competition ‘Regadinhas de Freiriz’. It is the motto to celebrate a ‘festival of Mays’ and the welcome of spring in Freiriz.
The local sports venue will host a festive weekend. There will be no shortage of music and traditional flavors.
SNACKS AND ‘MEGA MAY’
And for those who appreciate good flavors and traditional knowledge, steaks, cornbread cake with meat filling, broth tasting and many other snacks will be served.
In parallel, the long-awaited May exhibition is taking place, as part of the May contest, and the construction of ‘Mega-May’ in natural flowers.
This is an initiative of the Sports and Cultural Association “Os Regadinhas de Freiriz”, with the support of the Freiriz Parish Council.

- Broth Tests

- Singing to the Challenge
Sunday, May 5th
09:30 am – Opening of the venue and start of the Maios reception
3:30 pm – End of the Maios reception for the competition
- Musical animation
- Performance by the concertina group ‘Amigos do Bombo’
- Prize giving to the winners of the Competition
- Music with DJ Tito Lopes
