The Marinha Grande Professional and Artistic School (EPAMG) obtained approval for the creation of a Specialized Technological Center, which will be funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

The global investment to be made in EPAMG amounts to 1.3 million euros and includes a focus on infrastructure and equipment, which will “represent a qualitative leap in this strategic area for the region, the digital area”, says a press release from EPAMG .

All of the school’s training offerings “will benefit from this investment, which will have state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure”, he also assumes.

“We will be contributing to an increase in the potential for creating added value in key areas within the framework of industry 4.0 and in line with the challenges of the climate transition and digital transition”, states the press release.

“The focus on new technologies in the digital area will certainly guarantee highly innovative results in the preparation of students for professional activity and progression of studies to higher education, an objective clearly defined in the school’s educational project”, assumes EPAMG, in the statement .

According to the institution, “climate transition and digital transition constitute two of the structuring dimensions of the PRR, which is representative of the importance of these two themes for the economy and society in general”.
