The painting exhibition “Art with Wine” by Massimo Esposito opened this Saturday, May 4th, at the Casa dos Patudos Wine Tourism Center – Alpiarça Museum, as part of the “Wine City 2024” program of AMPV – Association of Municipalities Portuguese Wine.

This exhibition highlights the interconnection between art and wine, presenting a set of paintings that highlight the technique of painting with red wine, a practice that was forgotten for some time, but which has resurfaced with notoriety in recent years.

Visitors were welcomed with a wine tasting by Winemaker Rita Conim with Vinhos Minoc – Vinhos de Assinatura, valuing local wines and the wine culture of the region.

The inauguration ceremony, which also served as a presentation and explanation of the works on display, was attended by the Mayor of Alpiarça, Sónia Sanfona, who on the occasion praised the work created by the artist. Also present were the President of the Parish Council of Alpiarça, Jorge Costa, and the Councilor of the City Council, Jorge Freitas.

The exhibition will be on display until June 30, 2024 at Casa dos Patudos – Museu de Alpiarça.
