Temperatures rise from Tuesday and could exceed 30 degrees

To the maximum temperatures will rise from Tuesday, with highs expected that could exceed 30 degrees in some places in mainland Portugal, meteorologist Pedro Sousa told the Lusa agency.

“There is a significant improvement in the weather and also a significant recovery in temperatures in the coming days. Temperatures start to rise on Tuesday and on Wednesday they rise againwhich can exceed 30 degrees in some places”, he said.

According to the meteorologist from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), this Monday, there may still be some light showers until late morning and lowering of the minimum temperature.

“On Tuesday we will have a rise in the order of five to six degrees and on Wednesday it rose again by the same order of magnitude. To the lows only rise on Wednesdaycold mornings are expected for today and Tuesday”, he indicated.

According to Pedro Sousa, maximum temperatures above 25 degrees are expected from Tuesday, being equal to or greater than 30 in Alentejo, the South Region and the Tagus Valley.

“Temperatures remain stable throughout the week, and may there is a downward trend over the weekendbut at least until Friday there don’t seem to be many changes”, he said.
