Sporting won the Portuguese TRVPro Goalball Cup by beating national champion FC Porto in the final, 6-5. João Mota and Fábio Oliveira were the main figures of the meeting

The final phase of the competition took place at the Pavilhão Dr. Mario Mexia, in Coimbra. Highlight for ANDDVIS – National Sports Association for People with Visual Impairment, which took advantage of the moment to mention the importance of Record, OZ Energia and TRVPro in the development of Portuguese goalball.

It was also announced that the Super Cup will be played on October 5th at the Pavilhão Gimnodesportivo of the Melgaço Training Center, with FC Porto, Sporting and Castêlo da Maia guaranteed their place, waiting for the winner of the National Cup Jornal Record that will be played on the 6th and 7th of July.

Portugal now enters the final phase of preparation for the European Goalbal Championship, which will take place from the 3rd to the 10th of June in the Italian city of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
