Rafael Cardeira and Luís Boiça return to the controls of the Peugeot 208 Rally4 to compete in the Rally of Portugal, the 4th scoring event for the Portuguese Rally Championship and which also hosts the WRC – World Rally Championship calendar. The driver wants to win in the competition dedicated to the CPR Two Wheel Drives.

Just two weeks after the Rali Terras d’Aboboreira, the Sporting Clube de Portugal Driver returns to the wheel, at a high competitive pace and does not hide his desire to win the Rally de Portugal among the participants of the Portuguese 2 Wheel Drive Rally Championship. The awareness of the tougher side of the race is something that remains present, but does not deter Cardeira from his goals: “We know how tough the rally is and the special stages that we are not familiar with, but we are going to fight for victory in the 2 Wheel Drives of the CPR, to we finish the ground phase in the best way possible”, says the pilot.

Rafael Cardeira also adds: “We want to take advantage of all the involvement and motivation that a race of this size brings, right from the Super Special in Figueira da Foz. And we will work to foresee all types of scenarios throughout the rally, to win the competition among the competitors of the Portuguese 2 Wheel Drive Rally Championship.”

Rafael Cardeira and Luís Boiça will have their first contact with the terrain on Thursday morning, with the Shakedown Special in Baltar. The teams from the Portuguese Rally Championship will compete around 130 kilometers of special stages against the clock, until the end of the day on Friday, May 10th.
