Jornal de Leiria – Marinha Grande hosts the regional final of school Formula 1

The regional final of the 2024 F1 inSchools championship will take place on Wednesday, the 28th, at the Marinha Grande Municipal Exhibition Park.

The event held by Centimfe – Technological Center for the Mold, Special Tools and Plastics Industry, will allow students to put the theoretical knowledge learned into practice.

“Physics, aerodynamics, design, construction, brand development, sponsorships, marketing, teamwork and leadership, entrepreneurship, communication skills and financial strategy”, are some of the areas that will be evaluated by the competition jury, explains the organization in a statement

The following teams will be present: Titanius, Rage Racers, A Prego, Nasdar, Molding Performance, Batcars, Trolha Team, The Lions and Lightning Pro MG.

These formations will represent the Technological, Artistic and Professional School (ETAP), of Pombal, the Juncal Educational Institute (IEJ), the Batalha Secondary School, the Afonso Lopes Vieira Secondary School, the Pinhal do Rei Secondary School, the Jácome Secondary School Ratton and the Marinha Grande Professional and Artistic School.

Of these nine teams, three will be qualified and will compete in the national final, on the 3rd of July, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, where the winner will be determined, who will represent Portugal in the 2024 world championship.
