HOF and GTZ ensure maintenance at Challengers Portugal Tempest

The batch of teams in Split 2 of VALORANT Challengers Portugal Tempest is complete – HOF and GTZ survived the Tides!

After finishing the regular phase of the first season in the terminal places of the league table, the two teams had to fight to stay against the Top 2 of the closed qualifier, entering a bracket with Los Bandidos and ehehxd.

With 2-0 victories, the HOF was the first to achieve this goal without much opposition, defeating Los Bandidos and GTZ to remain in the main VALORANT league at national level, watching the fight for the last place from the outside.

Overtaken in the opening game by GTZ with a reverse-sweep, ehehxd returned to the Tides decisions with well-known names from the national scene and once again set up a meeting with Kayn’s team, appearing on the server with k0mpa, rlz and nasK.

A great recovery from ehehxd in Lotus took the map to Overtime but it was not enough to take down GTZ, a Portuguese-French team that prevailed 15-13 and, in Breeze, secured the place in Tempest with both hands and a victory by 13-7.
