Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza, Portuguese Nininho Vaz Maia and Irish Cian Ducrot are among the first confirmations for the third edition of the Authentica Festival, scheduled for December 6th and 7th in Braga.
According to the festival’s organizers, in a statement released today, Luísa Sonza, “who began her career in 2005 as the lead singer of the band Sol Maior, but whose popularity grew exponentially through social media, where she became known as ‘Queen of Covers’ by videos where she performed themes from artists who inspired her”, and Nininho Vaz Maia, “an artist who combines Flamenco, pop and gypsy tradition in a unique style and who unexpectedly won over fans in 2019 with his original songs on YouTube, adding to the As of today, more than 54 million views on their official channel”, they perform on the first day, on the main stage.
Cian Ducrot, “who saw his singles ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ and ‘All For You’ enter the Top 20 of the ‘Official Singles Chart’ and surpass 300 million ‘streams’ to date”, acts in the second day, on the same stage.
The first batch of confirmations for the Authentica festival is completed with L7NNON, “one of the biggest names in Brazilian rap today”, who performs on the second day of the festival, on the secondary stage.
In the third edition, which takes place at Fórum Braga, “the largest ‘indoor’ festival in Portugal, there will be the presence of artists from different musical genres, divided into two stages, the main one being Palco Authentica and the secondary Palco Urban, dedicated to talented Hip-Hop and Trap artists.”
Tickets for the festival, which in its second edition featured artists and bands such as Calema, James Arthur, Xutos & Pontapés, Xamã, T-Rex and Karetus, are now on sale.
According to the organization, there are several types of tickets – daily, VIP daily, general pass and VIP general pass – whose values vary between 49 and 280 euros.
