Ney Matogrosso gives two concerts in Portugal

Brazilian musician Ney Matogrosso will return to Portugal this year to present the “Bloco na Rua” tour, with which he has been on the road since 2019.

The concerts, at the Coliseums in Porto and Lisbon, are scheduled for the 12th and 15th of September, respectively.

In a statement, Ney Matogrosso emphasizes that this “is not a show of my hits”, adding that “I wanted to open up more to my repertoire”. “This time, I mixed things I’ve already recorded with other people’s repertoire.”

Topics such as ‘I want to put my block on the street’, ‘A Maçã’, ‘Alcool (Filosófico Bolero)’, ‘O Beco’ and ‘Mulher Barriguda’ will not be left out. Accompanying him will be Sacha Amback (musical direction and keyboard), Marcos Suzano and Felipe Roseno (percussion), Dunga (bass), Mauricio Almeida (guitar), Aquiles Moraes (trumpet) and Everson Moraes (trombone).
