The parish of Vila Franca, in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, promotes this year’s edition of the Festa das Rosas between this Friday, the 10th, and next Sunday.
This Friday, the 10th, the opening of the Crafts with Tradition Exhibitionat 10:00 pm, at Casa do Povo.
At 22:30 hours ago Youth Festival with performance by the CURTISOM Musical Group and from midnight onwards the Super Roses.
Saturday, the party continues with Parade and Magazine of Bombos and Zés Pereiras Groupsat 2:30 pm, and the Procession of Votive Roses, at 4:30 pm. At 9:30 pm, another edition of the Vila Franca Folklore Festival.
Sunday, the 12th, there is Stewardship Paradeat 9:30 am, and the Majestic Processionat 4:00 pm.
In between, at 10:00 am, a tribute to priest José Luís Esteves do Coutowho died in October last year, and Eucharist in Honor of Our Lady of the Rosaryat 10:30 am.
At night, the Belcanto Show Groupat 22:00 hours.
Monday, May 13th, opens Flower Baskets Exhibition inside the Parish Church, at 9:00 am, and at 6:30 pm the Eucharist in Honor of Saint Michael.
A week later, Sunday, the 19th, the festivities end with the traditional Children’s Partyas Procession to be scheduled for 3:00 pm.
