CA of Low Voltage Electricity Distribution Concession Agreements established

The auditorium of the Alto Alentejo Intermunicipal Community (CIMAA) hosted this Thursday, May 9th, the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee (CA) of Low Voltage Electricity Distribution Concession Contracts, which is now officially constituted.

The creation of this CA is in accordance with current legislation and results from the agreement established between the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP) and the concessionary entity E-Redes – Distribuição de Eletricidade, SA. Its main objective is to monitor the measures stipulated through of this agreement, which will be put into practice in the Municipalities of Alto Alentejo.

The Commission’s regulations were unanimously approved, with José Pio – president of the Gavião City Council – presiding over it, and also with the presence of representatives from CIMAA, AREANATEJO and E-REDES. The meeting also included a presentation by representatives of E-REDES, where the investment that has been made throughout the territory was discussed, whether in low, medium or high voltage.
