Marco de Canaveses Karate School organizes the traditional Annual Internship

The Marco de Canaveses Karate School will hold this Friday and Saturday, May 10th and 11th, the traditional Annual Training, with the modalities of Bojutsu, for over 12 years old, and Karate-do Shotokai, in memory to master Michio Kodama.

The purpose of this internship, according to the school’s press release, is “bring to Marco de Canaveses, the associations and practitioners who shared the teaching and practice of Karate-do Shotokai and Bojutsu when master Kodama was assistant to master Atsuo Hiruma. The associations that had Master Kodama as Japanese technical director and also the friends who were present at the Commemorative Act of the placement of his ashes in the sea, in A Coruña on January 26, 2019”.

Thus, the internship will be guided by the successor and responsible for the Associación Keiko in A Coruña, Spain, José Luís de La Fuente, who will guide the internship with assistants Eva Pazos Lópes and Jacinto Prada Alba.

Before the internship begins, exams will be held on Thursday, May 9th, at 7:00 pm. On the first day of the internship, Friday, pavilion 1 will host Karate-do, between 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm.

On Saturday, May 11th, the sporting event will take place in Pavilion 2: 10am-12pm (Bojutsu); 1:00 pm (Lunch); 4:30pm-6:30pm (Karate-do); 6:40 pm (Protocol ceremony to close the internship).
