The 9th Edition of the Lisbon Bar Show will welcome the Secretary of State for Tourism, Pedro Machado, the President of the Executive Committee of the Lisbon Regional Tourism Entity, Carla Salsinha, and the Ambassador of Peru in Portugal, Carlos Gil de Montes, to to mark the official opening of the initiative that takes place on the 14th and 15th of May in the capital.

Alberto Pires, founder of the Lisbon Bar Show, will begin the ceremony, followed by the intervention of the President of the Association of Hotel Directors of Portugal, Fernando Garrido, the President of the Lisbon Regional Tourism Authority, Carla Salsinha, and, finally , by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Pedro Machado, who will give the speech that marks the official opening of the event.

The largest concentration of the best bartenders in the world in Lisbon, welcomes around 35 renowned professionals from four corners of the world, for unprecedented presentations of the latest trends in the area of ​​bartending and cocktails.

At national level, the event features the Portuguese: Ana Camacho, Chef Kiko, Duarte Coelho, Fernão Gonçalves, Gonçalo Almeida, Paulo Ramos, Pedro Simões, Paulo Gomes, Sergio Padilla and Rodolfo Tristão.

Internationally, the event features the presence of Mónica Berg, named the most influential person in the Bar World 100 by Drinks International and co-founder of P(OUR), a non-profit industry, which works to expand knowledge about drinks throughout the drinking community. bars and supporting communities that protect regional biodiversity, is one of the big surprises this year, as is Tom Dyer, one of the most awarded bartenders in the world of flair, bar owner, bartender, supervisor, manager and now co-owner of European Bartender School, in London, Paris, Milan, Rome and Cape Town.

Other notable names in the bartending field, present at this 9th edition of the Lisbon Bar Show, are Danil Nevsky, Aaron Diaz, Anxo Vila, Demie Kim, Jean Trinh, Sean Finter, Benjamin Padron Novoa, Jason Asher, Iain McPherson, Ian Burrell, Giusy Castaldo, Ema Giacone, Jorge Balbontin, Matteo Mosetti, Matías Iriarte, Emanuel Minêz, Flavi Andrade, Melanie da Conceição, Pablo Melian and Juan Alberto Álvarez.

This year, the biggest hospitality, restaurant and hotel event in Portugal, has Peru as a guest country and the big news is the presence of a multi-brand non-alcoholic drinks bar. The initiative gives space to several initiatives such as the Vintage Cocktail Competition, 2nd Iberian Bartenders Congress, Mojito Forum, the Lisbon Bar Show Awards that annually distinguish the best bartenders and bairmaids, Masterclasses and Workshops.

The Lisbon Bar Show is an event dedicated to professionals in the sector, but open to the general public. Each ticket costs €29, pre-sale until May 10th and €39 on the days of the event.
