Chris Hemsworth, 40, was unhappy with his own performance in Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). In an interview with Vanity Fairreleased on Tuesday (30), the star of the franchise said that the film “lost itself in the joke” and defined the comic vision of his character as “exaggerated”.

Praised for his roles in comedies in recent years, the idea was for Chris to “explore his natural comedic gifts”. “I ended up getting lost in improvisation and crazy, and I became a parody of myself. I didn’t get it right, I didn’t deliver a good ending”, he assessed.

Due to the feeling, Hemsworth confessed that he wants to play Thor again, as a way of “apologizing”. “I feel like I owe the fans another good film,” he explained.

Despite controversial reactions, Thor: Love and Thunder It was a box office success, grossing more than US$760 million worldwide.
