Selton Mello and Matheus Nachtergaele return in the first teaser for “O Auto da Compadecida 2”

It was announced this Thursday morning (2) the first teaser for “O Auto da Compadecida 2”the long-awaited sequel to the 2000 film. Starring Selton Mello, Matheus Nachtergaele It is Taís Araujothe film will hit theaters on December 25th.

In the film, Selton and Matheus revisit the roles of Chicó and João Grilo more than 20 years after the release of the first film, while Taís takes on the role of Our Lady, which was played by Fernanda Montenegro in the original. Directed by Guel Arraes and Flávia Lacerda.

The cast also features the returns of Virginia Cavendish as Rosinha and Enrique Diaz as Joaquim Brejeiro, as well as new characters played by Humberto Martins, Luis Miranda, Eduardo Sterblitch and Fabiula Nascimento.
