Two men were cut with a knife at the end of a concert in a bar next to São Bento Station, in Porto. The author of the aggression, last Sunday, was one of the two elements of the Moscow Death Brigade [Brigada da Morte de Moscovo] (MDB), a Russian “hardcore hip-hop” group. The musicians, who perform in hoods, claim that they were the target of a violent attack and that they were lucky to get out of there alive.
The band, touring Europe, gave a concert, Sunday afternoon, at “Barracuda – Clube de Roque”. At the beginning of the performance, the group asked not to smoke in the room. Some spectators in the smoking area did not heed the appeal. After two songs, one of the musicians will have confronted one of the smokers. They argued and became physically involved. There was a huge confusion and aggression between the band and the public. The concert ended with the third theme. In a statement published yesterday on Facebook, the band complains that its members were attacked by members of the public, also accused of trying to destroy material. When the confusion ceased, they asked for help to get out of the place. Help that will have been denied. “They told us to call the police. Which we obviously didn’t do,” says Boltcutter Vlad. [Vlad Alicate]pseudonym of one of the musicians.
