Called ‘ugly’ by Selena Gomez’s fans, the singer’s boyfriend regrets attacks on her appearance: ‘Doing charity with me’

Selena Gomez’s boyfriend, music producer Benny Blanco responded to negative comments about his appearance in an interview with the podcast “Whiskey Ginger”, by YouTuber Andrew Santino. In the chat, the musician vented about the criticism he has encountered online since the two started dating last year.

“She’s doing charity with me,” he said, pointing to his face. “Yes, with me. It’s really crazy, and I understand,” he continued. The presenter countered the self-deprecation and reinforced that Benny Blanco has a good heart, in addition to talent. “Their fans already hate me and think I’m ugly,” said the producer.

The couple’s fans keep asking for him and Selena Gomez to have a cooking show.

“I’ll tell you, she’s so prepared. Whenever we’re going to dinner and we’re going to cook for each other’s families and stuff, she’s like, hours before, preparing everything. She fixed all her mistakes, cut everything perfectly. She’s a bit of a perfectionist in the kitchen and is very good at cooking. She just has the perfect palate (…) She’s so good at organizing a dinner party and thinking about where everyone will sit, listening to music and getting the right drinks in the right way. And I don’t know, she’s the best at it,” he said, handing over his girlfriend’s favorite dishes:
