Taylor Swift’s hints at ex-boyfriends in her new songs

Before releasing the new album, The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift, 34 years old, had already given a spoiler that left many people on alert: she would talk about her ex-boyfriends there. And so she did. Regarding the end of her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, she said in one of the lyrics: “You betrayed me/You hurt me/You taught me/You caged me”. He also didn’t spare musician Matty Healy, who he poked: “Was anything real?”. In this case, the tone, milder than expected, was received with relief. “Matty’s family was worried, they thought Taylor would expose him as a villain,” the musician’s publicist told US Weekly. The singer is just happy. Currently dating American football player Travis Kelce, she recorded 200 million plays of the album on Spotify in a single day.
