Madonna will conclude her The Celebration Tour this Saturday (04), with a historic show on Copacabana Beach. The event will be broadcast live on Globo. During the 90s, Madonna maintained a friendship with pop icon Michael Jackson. An intriguing story about both was revealed in 2017 by Mark Lester, former child actor and close friend of MJ. In an interview, Lester recounted an episode in which Jackson came across Madonna naked in his bed, a situation that surprised him and caused him to scream.

“When he entered the room, she was completely naked on her bed. When she saw it, he screamed and ran away. Something I would never do. I believe he had a problem with the physical act of having sex,” said Mark Lester, who became famous as a child prodigy in the musical film Oliver (1968).

In 2016, Madonna confirmed that she and Michael Jackson almost established a romantic relationship. During an interview with The Late Late Sho, the singer assured that she and Jackson shared a kiss.

“Do you want me to be the type to kiss and tell everyone? Of course (about giving the kiss), I took a tour there. It was a French kiss. He was very shy. I managed to make him relax after a glass of champagne.”

• The singer’s production team, made up of 200 people, will be accommodated in 90 rooms at the Copacabana Palace.
• For Madonna and the dancers’ costume changes, 45 trunks of clothes were prepared.
• Globo changed its schedule to show Madonna’s show from 9:30 pm. On Globoplay and Multishow the broadcast starts at 8pm with TVZ Especial.
