The Claudia Meireles Column keeps an eye on everything that happens in Brazil and, in Rio de Janeiro, it would be no different, especially before, during and after the Madonna show, held on the sands of Copacabana on Saturday night (4/5) . The following day, Sunday (5/5), the pop queen’s children were spotted in a Rio restaurant.
Ophthalmologist Leo Borges went to the Ferro e Farinha restaurant, in the Botafogo neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. At one point, the doctor noticed that the table he was at “got squeezed” with the space occupied by Madonna’s children. The gastronomic house specializes in pizzas with artisanal dough preparation and individual sizes.

In the records made by Leo Borges, you can see two of Madonna’s six children, Mercy James, aged 18, and Estere, aged 11. The girls participated in the show that ended The Celebration Tour. Other people accompanied the sisters on their trip to the Rio restaurant.
The pizzeria
Led by Japanese-American chef Sei Shiroma, the restaurant was the first to feature a pizza from Rio de Janeiro on the list of the 100 best pizzas in the world. He started working on a mobile pizzeria in 2013. Seeing that the demand for the delicacies was only growing, the pasta expert decided to open a unit in the Catete neighborhood.
The gastronomic house won over artists and chefs, who crossed the Marvelous City to taste and approve the pizzas made with thin dough and natural fermentation. In 2019, the second Ferro e Farinha unit opened, but precisely in Leblon. In 2020, Sei Shiroma opened a space in Botafogo. The chef likes to “explore wood-fired preparations”. Among the gastronomic house’s flagships is the pizza with a base of fior di latte mozzarella, grana padano and basil.
