Born in Rio in the second half of 2018, Mood FM radio leaves the dial at the end of May.

The project was carried out by advertisers and cultural agitators Rafael Liporace and Rômulo Groisman, who have been partners since the days when they ran Biruta, in the 2000s, a Rio promotional marketing agency and pioneer in alternative outdoor media, such as bike-doors.
With the end of transmissions, the position of the 91.1 FM dial, owned by the Band group, is freed up, which will be occupied by a brand from the group, operated with increased power already approved by Anatel.
According to Roberto Oliveira, director of Band in Rio, the group is still “in the market study, strategic planning and data analysis phase to make the best decision and select the one that makes the most sense for the audience and our advertisers”. One of the largest radio station complexes in Brazil, Band currently has seven brands, four of which broadcast on the network.
Amigos da Janela, however, guarantee that 91.1 FM will be occupied by the “Band FM” brand, a brand that is present in several other Brazilian cities but not in Rio. The station competes in the popular music segment.
From June onwards, explain Groisman and Liporace, the duo will once again focus more on their business in the areas of communication, entertainment and gastronomy, through the Avera agency!
Among them, event labels, such as Tardezinha; and buffet and restaurant, such as Circus Trattoria, a themed trattoria recently installed in BarraShopping.
