It was with extreme emotion that singer Marco Paulo returned to the stage two years later. At the end of the show ‘Para Semper Marco Paulo’, which took place this Wednesday, May 1st, at the Tivoli Theater, in Lisbon, the artist took to the stage, brought the audience to their feet and also left an appeal. “Don’t stop clapping”asked the singer.

The artist kissed the floorboards of the concert hall, said that the doctors did not authorize him to sing and that he would not ruin the good work they have been doing for a year and a half of fighting two cancers, but he could not resist accompanying the singers Andrea and Jéssica in the song ‘Maravilhoso Coração’.

The public stood up euphorically to applaud the singer, who was moved by the tribute and spoke about his death. “I don’t know if I have ten, one year or one day to live, but I leave here very happy”he said, adding: “The best tribute you can do to me after I’m gone is to sing my songs. The more you sing, the more I’ll hear up there.”

Several public figures were present in this tribute to the singer, such as João Baião, Diana Chaves, Júlia Pinheiro, Luciana Abreu, the singer, Micaela, Cláudio Ramos, Cláudia Vieira, Ana Marques, José Figueira, among other faces.
