Recently, Google officially presented the new Pixel 8a and it seems that the search giant is not going to waste any time and is preparing to launch the first update for the affordable smartphone.
According to the Android Authority and Verizon websites, this update – version UD2A.240505.001.B1 – brings with it a security patch, but also an AI feature from the more advanced “brother” Google Pixel 8.
This feature uses generative AI technology to create wallpapers based on keywords and themes. Since this functionality requires a lot of processing power, it does not run locally on the device, but rather on Google’s cloud servers.
This update is expected to be released very soon for the new smartphone, but unfortunately there is no concrete date for its release yet.

Let’s remember the attributes of Google’s new affordable smartphone, which is now available for reservation in the brand’s online store with prices starting at €559.
The model arrived equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen that offers a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, in addition to a maximum brightness of 2000 nits.
