Event takes place from this Thursday at the Business Association of the Viseu Region and reveals the most recent approaches in the treatment of chronic ulcers
The Association of Surgeons of the City of Viriato organizes this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (9th to 11th May) the second edition of the Diabetic Leg and Foot Days at the Business Association of the Viseu Region.
The event, which has as its motto “Latest trends in the treatment of chronic diabetic leg and foot ulcers”, is held in collaboration with the General Surgery, External Consultation and Diabetes Unit services at Viseu Hospital.
According to the organizers, the conferences will present “the most recent approaches in the treatment of these pathologies, simultaneously providing better communication between primary and differentiated healthcare in relation to the topic, updating and training healthcare professionals, doctors, nurses, podiatrists and pharmacists. ”.
Today, the event hosts a theoretical-practical course where various topics are covered and with the participation of medical and nursing students. This Friday and Saturday, the program includes round tables with the participation of experts.
