Manuel Ugarte received an expulsion order in the final moments of extra time and was not on the field in the penalty shoot-out, which would dictate Sporting’s qualification in the Europa League (1-1, 3-3 on aggregate) and consequent removal from Arsenal, but not hesitated to share the sensations of the party in the spa.
“Everything was amazing in that game [frente ao Arsenal]. The atmosphere was just like what we are used to seeing on television. Eliminating the best team at the moment, who lead the Premier League, in their own stadium… well, that can only be considered an incredible achievement”, he began by saying in statements quoted in ESPN.
