The Fact Check Tool Fact Check Explorer It is out of Beta and is now available to anyone who wants to confirm information on the internet. Previously, the resource was only released by journalism and combating misinformation professionals.

About the image

Its purpose is to provide those who use the search service with information about:

  • History of the image, when it first appeared, for example;
  • How websites describe and use the image; It is
  • Image metadata (the date, location, and file name, for example) when available.

About this page

The idea here is to offer information about pages the user has never heard of.

The function is intended to provide context about the website the user is accessing.

  • Shows information about the website, such as when it was created and by whom, for example;
  • The Wikipedia description, when available; It is
  • Third-party opinions about the page.

Fact Check Explorer is no longer Beta
