A The Pentagon division in charge of developing military projects, DARPA, unveiled a tank equipped with autonomous driving capable of moving over rough terrain at a maximum speed of 40km/h.
More than the description, it’s even better to see the video shared by DARPA, where you can see this autonomous tank – called RACER (Robotic Autonomy in Complex Environments with Resiliency) – being tested at a military training camp in the state of Texas, In the USA.
As you will notice, the front face of the vehicle has what look like two eyes with green light but, according to what the agency told the website Gizmodo, it appears that the color of the lighting is just an indicator of the vehicle’s condition.
