New edition of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus pays tribute to the Argentine football team, champion of the last FIFA World Cup
Through a new special edition of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, Xiaomi decided to pay homage to the Argentine football team, champion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This is the World Champions version of the device, with a personalized look inspired by team led by Lionel Messi.

The main changes to the device compared to the traditional version are aesthetic, with a rear cover painted in blue. It still represents the back of the Argentine number 10 shirt — the number was worn by Messi in the World Cup, and also represents 10 years of Xiaomi’s operations in India, where the device will be sold.
Furthermore, the smartphone comes in a special blue packaging, which comes with several customized accessories. They include a wall charger with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) crest, and a gold-colored memory card tray ejector.
As India does not have a football team with great international relevance, it is common for the local population to choose other countries to support. During the World Cup in Qatar, several local groups showed admiration for the South American teams, especially Brazil and Argentina.

In addition to its stylized look, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus in World Champions edition features the same set of specifications as the smartphone announced in September last year. It will be sold in a version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, leaving out other variants launched in China.
The smartphone has already been analyzed by FreeGameGuide, highlighting its 120 W fast charging, which was able to complete the charge in just 23 minutes. However, aspects such as battery life and video stabilization still deserve some improvements.

The new edition of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus was only announced in India, and curiously not in Argentina, where Xiaomi has official operations and local manufacturing plans. Its official price is 37,999 rupees, equivalent to around R$2,339 in direct conversion.
