Xbox consoles are not selling much in this current generation of consoles, so, after several important (and expensive) acquisitions, Microsoft is forced to make the investments made profitable in any way possible.

This is exactly why there is something like 3 months ago, several rumors pointed to the arrival of heavyweights, once critical exclusives of Xbox consoles, to Sony consoles. We are talking about games like Gears of War, Starfield, etc… However, there was a small event, and Microsoft only confirmed the arrival of some “less important” games, such as Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Grounded and Sea of Thieves. Interestingly, games that also made their way to the Switch, Nintendo’s current console.

Well, as we said at the time… It was just the beginning!

Xbox? Microsoft will bet big and ugly on Sony PlayStation consoles!

The first games to make their way to the PS5 were just an experiment, which if it went well, would mean the arrival of many other games, some of them with high levels of importance in the Xbox ecosystem.

However, obviously, we do not have access to pure and hard numbers, however, we know that Sea of Thieves topped several sales charts before its release on Sony PlayStation consoles. Therefore, we can say with some certainty that the bet went well.

So, with positive results in hand, according to some leaks and rumors, we will see more games coming to PS5. Can you guess which ones? We’re talking Halo, Forza, and possibly even Gears of War. These are big games!

In fact, the same leaks suggest that all Xbox games will reach the remaining ecosystems on the market, with Xbox consoles falling, at least for now, to a secondary level.

To confirm all this, we will have news on June 9th from a new Xbox Games Showcase.
