A Apple has been working on introducing Face ID under the iPhone screen.
Initially scheduled for 2025, it may now have been postponed to 2026.
iPhone should only receive Face ID under the screen in 2026
Major smartphone manufacturers have been working on integrating the front camera under the screen to create a full screen without cuts.
Apple is no exception, with the latest leaks pointing to the integration of this new feature in the iPhone 17 in 2025.
However, an update to this same leak has now revealed that these plans have been postponed and that Apple is now planning to integrate this functionality into the iPhone 18 Pro models, planned for 2026.

This way, it will be on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max that we will have a full screen without a cutout for cameras, or on the iPhone 19 if you want to take advantage of this technology on non-Pro models.
