One UI 7.0 (probably the name of Samsung’s new UI) based on Android 15 is already under development by Samsung, according to the SamMobile website. The South Korean manufacturer released a new firmware version for testing the Galaxy S24 Ultra and showed signs that it is working on the new generation of the company’s cell phone interface.

The firmware in question, discovered on May 7th on the platform, is identified by version S928BXXU2BXE2. The original article points out that all versions that have the letter “B” at the end represent a major update to One UI, while the letter “A” signals smaller updates.

One UI is the interface developed by Samsung based on Android, a kind of “mask” of the operating system installed on the manufacturer’s cell phones. The company releases a new version of the UI every year and follows the latest version of Google’s OS — it is worth remembering that the first Beta of Android 15 was released in April and the stable version should be released from August this year.

What to expect from One UI 7.0 and Android 15?

Typically, major One UI updates combine the new Android features with other exclusive interface customization features. Android 15 has not yet been officially announced — this should happen during Google I/O, on May 14th — but expectations are high for the arrival of new AI features for the system, symbolizing a new era in the Android 15 market. cell phones.

So far, it is not possible to determine what improvements Samsung is preparing for the next version, but the Android 15 Beta already brings some interesting functions: the system should have a native option for hiding apps, sending messages via satellite, improvements in NFC and option to change the default voice assistant.

The Beta version of One UI 7.0 is still under internal development and should be released for the first public tests in the coming months. For comparison purposes, the One UI 6.0 Beta based on Android 14 was released in August 2023 in selected countries, while the stable version only appeared at the end of October — in Brazil, it began arriving in December
