The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 is, for now, exclusive to the US and Canadian markets.
Every year the Motorolaa company controlled by Lenovo, expands its line of smartphones, renewing equipment with new and updated technical specifications. And the line Moto G is no different, as the company has just announced the new Moto G Stylus 5G 2024which once again stands out for having support for a “pen”.
This 2024 version of the Moto G Stylus arrives exactly one year after the launch of the 2023 model, which was initially launched in a 4G version and, in the weeks later, arrived with a version with support for 5G networks. Both versions, however, were never officially sold in Europe. It is therefore likely that this new model will also remain exclusive to the US and Canadian markets. But compared to last year’s version, this Moto G Stulys 5G 2024 has been renewed both in terms of hardware features and design, now in line with Motorola’s current style philosophy. The profile, in fact, has flatter edges while the rear camera module “emerges” smoothly from the rear body, which is covered in vegan leather in two colors: Scarlet Wave and Caramel Latte. Furthermore, its screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
But when it comes to technical specifications, this Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 has a 6.7-inch pOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Its maximum brightness is up to 1300 nits. Inside we have a Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, which is accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 2TB. Still inside we have a 5000mAh battery with support for fast wired charging, through its USB-C port, of up to 30W, and wireless charging is also present and supports up to 15W.
With regard to photography, its main sensor has 50MP with optical image stabilization, f/1.8 aperture and Ultra Pixel technology, but both the ultra-wide-angle camera, which here has 13MP with 120-degree FOV, and the 32MP front, use pixel binning technology to improve sensitivity in low light conditions.
As we had already revealed, this Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 has support for a Stylus pen that comes with the device. This pen has been improved with a larger contact area and optimized software for greater responsiveness and simplified functionality. And since we’re talking about software, Motorola’s new smartphone leaves the factory running the Android 14 with exclusive features designed to improve the overall user experience and provide peace of mind. This includes, for example, the Moto Secure 2.0, Moto Unplugged It is Family Space.
Other notable notes are the fact that the smartphone has certification IP52but at no time did the manufacturer make reference to a fingerprint sensor, so at the moment we do not have confirmation that it is present.
