Body of Finnish woman found in caravan on Costa da Caparica

O The body of a woman of Finnish nationality was found, this Friday morning, in a motorhome, next to the Urban Park of Costa da Caparica.

The National Republican Guard (GNR) patrol from Trafaria was called to the scene at 8:30 am today. Upon arrival, the military detected the parked vehicle, where a couple of Finnish nationality was located, and the woman was dead, confirmed a source from the Territorial Command of Setúbal to the News by the Minute.

The individual reportedly told the GNR military that the woman had suffered a fall five days ago and did not want to go to the hospital.

For now, it is not known how long ago the victim died, but it was found that the body had several injuries.

The GNR Criminal Investigation Nucleus was at the scene and called the Judiciary Police (PJ), which inspected the place and is investigating the occurrence.

The body was sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine to perform an autopsy, while the man was taken by the PJ to provide clarification to the authority, with the support of an interpreter.
