
Competitors in the same motorcycling event die in different accidents within 24 hours
Two competitors of the same motorcycling event died in different accidents in less than 24 hours in Paraná. The event this weekend in Cascavel, in western Paraná, at the municipal race track.

Leonardo Mascarello Pozzer, 38, died this Saturday (18), around 2 pm, during the competition. A video taken during the dispute shows the moment when the motorcycle he was riding leaves the track at high speed and crashes into a containment. Watch the video at the beginning of this report.
Two ambulances were at the competition site and teams provided medical attention, but he couldn’t resist and died at the scene.
According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the man collided the motorcycle he was driving against a harvester that crossed the highway, going to a rural road.

The organization of the event reported that the competitor who died this Saturday has more than 10 years of experience. This Saturday’s accident, according to the organization, may have occurred due to mechanical failure or fatality.
The Civil Police (PC-PR) reported that it should investigate the case.
