Union demands that Equatorial Celpa define targets for PLR 2024 and proposes payment of PLR 2023 for March 28

On March 1st, the Union of Urban Workers of Pará sent Official Letter 0474/2024 to the CEO of Equatorial Celpa requesting the definition of PLR 2024 goals and the payment of PLR 2023 until March 28th. It turns out that until the closing of this edition, on 3/14, the company’s management had not yet commented.
The Profit Sharing Program or Results 2024 (PPLR 2024) was sealed, via the Collective Agreement, in October 2023. Achieving PLR goals is a condition for the worker to earn PLR.
Clause 3 determines that goals must be defined at the beginning of the year and also determines that said goals must be disclosed.
We are in March, month three of 2024, but the company has not yet agreed on the goals.
Failing to define the goals to be achieved in the PPLR 2024 reveals disregard for the workers’ PLR. The company’s silence is blatant and harmful. What is the interest in not responding to the letter from the workers’ representative!?
PLR 2023
Our request to advance the payment of PLR 2023 until March 28th is due to the fact that the company said that it will release its financial statement on March 20th. In other words, the company is fully capable of meeting the workers’ proposal and releasing the PLR 2023 by 3/28, even though the deadline is 5/10.
Upon publication of the company’s financial statement, there is no reason to push the payment of the 2023 PLR to another date.
Therefore, we anticipated and requested payment for March 28th.
