In an interview with BandNews FM, Marcelo Freixo, who was responsible for investigating the militias in Rio de Janeiro and who was a friend of Marielle, and her sister, minister Anielle Franco, were shocked and surprised by the arrest of Rivaldo Barbosa, chief of the Rio Civil Police at the time of the crime.
