Brad Binder recalled a troubled start in MotoGP: ‘You caught some surprises along the way; Today is much harder than when I started’

After stating that Pedro Acosta is very special, the KTM rider was asked about his own path and the beginning of his career in MotoGP and recalled that not everything went smoothly.

Since then at the official factory KTM, since he debuted in the category in 2020 – the year in which he even won a race – Binder recalled what his start in MotoGP was like: ‘I remember starting in MotoGP and the difficulties I felt in the first test, and then I got to the first race and thought: «I’m super fast». I ended up falling a lot of times, but I remember just rolling, I don’t know, always feeling like I could hit people, do funny things, and then you remember to save the tires or something’.

On a tough journey and with many teachers, Binder has no doubt that what Acosta will have to face today is tougher than what happened to him then: ‘You pick up a few surprises along the way, but I think it’s always exciting at the beginning, you’re racing against the boys you admire. I loved it, it was really cool, and now I think it’s tougher than when I started, certainly. It’s really cool and an adventure’.
