If you tried to use Instagram today and faced a problem, know that the cause is not your internet. The social network is receiving several complaints today, most of which are related to the Android and iOS app, but users of the desktop version and the website are also encountering difficulties.
According to the portal that monitors user complaints DownDetector, the problems began at 3:06 pm, intensifying until 4:21 pm, when more than 700 complaints were registered. Users of the social network continue to have problems using various Instagram features to date.

As we can see above, some users’ accounts are being restricted without any justification, preventing them from commenting, publishing or interacting with other users for no reason at all.
Instagram and Meta have not yet commented on the problem, but we hope it will be resolved soon, as reports indicate that several functions of the application are restricted, especially on iOS. Instagram’s last crash occurred on April 21, just 10 days ago.
