The Federal Police (PF) mapped out more hypotheses for the murder of councilor Marielle Franco. The PF continued: “The Brazão family’s interactions with such groups occur in the Community of Rio das Pedras, the birthplace of the militia in Rio de Janeiro, and spread to other locations located in the Jacarepaguá region, West Zone, notably Osvaldo Cruz. PSol’s opposition to the appointment of Domingos Brazão to the position of advisor to the Court of Auditors of the State of Rio de Janeiro also aroused the anger of the two brothers, according to Lessa. In October 2017, Marielle published a video on her social networks in which Marcelo Freixo attacked then deputy Flávio Bolsonaro for having voted in favor of Domingos Brazão’s nomination for TCE-RJ.
