The Grão Vasco National Museum, the Viriato Theater, the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic of Viseu, the Misericórdia Church, the auditorium of the Emídio Navarro Secondary School and the Multipurpose Pavilion are some of the places you will pass through, from today until Next 20th, the 17th edition of the Viseu Spring International Music Festival. The event, promoted by the Azeredo Perdigão Regional Music Conservatory, starts at 9pm at Teatro Viriato, with a concert by the Portuguese Orchestra of Guitars and Mandolins, ending with the interpretation of Symphony No. 2 ‘Ressurreição’, by Mahler, by Mahler. Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by soprano Bárbara Barradas and mezzo-soprano Patrícia Quinta.
In addition to concerts for the general public, the festival also features, once again, educational concerts, which aim to reach different audiences and promote art as a form of expression and transformation.
Masterclasses offer a unique opportunity for students and professionals to develop their knowledge and be inspired by the teachings of internationally renowned teachers.
