PM soldier is kidnapped, tortured and shot dead; body was found in the trunk of a vehicle

The death of a military police officer mobilizes Civil Police investigations in Campo Magro, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (RMC). Soldier Gabriel Thomaz Feuerstein Fadel, 26, was kidnapped, tortured and shot. The crime took place on Sunday, the 31st, but confirmation that the body found was his only came on Monday, the 1st.

According to investigations, at around 5pm on Sunday, the Military Police (PM) reported a situation of gunshots being fired in an invasion of the city, on Rua Mauro Medeiros Damas. Arriving there, the police found a car with blood marks and cases nearby, with the body in the trunk.

Gabriel had been missing since Friday, the 29th, and there was a suspicion that it could be him, but it was not possible to identify him at the scene. According to the police, his body was very injured.

The body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), where it underwent examinations. Around 4pm on Monday, confirmation came: Gabriel was recognized by fingerprint.
