Doctor Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz, aged 28, arrested for involvement in the death of two elderly people, in Peixoto de Azevedo, 692 km from Cuiabá, He will be held in a separate cell in the municipality’s Public Jail, and will receive psychological support. The request was made by his defense and accepted by judge João Zibordi.
According to the doctor’s defense, lawyer Rogério Pereira, Bruno has been undergoing psychiatric treatment since the end of the pandemic and was asked to continue this treatment within the prison.
The request for Bruno to have a separate cell was based on article 84 of the criminal execution law, and says that he He will only be separated during preventive detention, as he has not yet been tried.
The doctor is the son of Ines Gemilaki, aged 48, and stepson of Márcio Ferreira Gonçalves, both arrested for being involved in the murders of Pilson Pereira da Silva, aged 69, and Rui Luiz Bogo, aged 81, during lunch on Sunday (21), in Peixoto de Azevedo. Márcio’s brother, Eder Gonçalves Rodrigues, is also investigated for the crime.
Márcio and Eder were arrested on Tuesday morning (23). In the afternoon of the same day, Bruno handed himself in to the police, along with his mother.
