Stunned by the death of Fernanda Campos Sales, 36 years old, sister and daughter, they did not mince words to describe the pain of having such a loved one stabbed to death in Naviraí.
The victim was stabbed to death on Tuesday morning (23), during a dispute over drugs.
The victim’s sister, a woman regretted not seeing Fernanda before the crime.
“I still can’t believe it, it was in my plans when I could leave the city to look for you, but there wasn’t time. I will always love you, my condolences my niece, your aunt loves you”, wrote the relative.
“God put you in a good place mom. I will love you forever”, declared the daughter on social media.
The crime
In addition to Fernanda, Guilherme Maldonado Estabulis, 24 years old, tried to kill a woman identified as Alessandra and took his own life.
According to Alessandra, she, Fernanda and Guilherme were in a residence located on Rua Travessa Sete de Setembro, close to the bus terminal, consuming drugs. According to her, at a certain point there was an argument and Guilherme tried to kill them with knife blows and then he attempted to kill himself.
After receiving five knife blows that hit her left knee and arm, chest, left side of her face, mouth and neck, Alessandra managed to run and ask for help. She was rescued by Samu (Urgent Medical Care Service).
Guilherme, who had injuries to his right hand, face and neck, told the police that he was in a house consuming crack in the company of Fernanda and Alessandra. At one point, Fernanda allegedly surprised him with knife blows.
In an attempt to defend himself, he would have managed to take the knife and strike her a few times as well. According to Guilherme, he also stabbed Alessandra with a knife, as he imagined that the two were trying to get the drugs that would be his.
As Guilherme was undergoing treatment at that time, he was arrested, being placed under
Military Police escort.
While taking steps to the place where the events allegedly occurred, the police found Fernanda lying in the backyard of the residence, also with serious stab wounds. The Fire Department was called, however, when they arrived at the scene they found that she was already dead. She had injuries to her left arm, mouth, nose and a deep cut on the front of her neck.
The Military Police isolated the place and called the Civil Police and Criminal Forensics. The case was registered at the 1st DP (Civil Police Station), where Guilherme was charged with the crimes of simple homicide and attempted homicide. Guilherme, who already has police records for the crime of drug trafficking, remains hospitalized under Military Police escort.
