José Alves da Silva was found dead with a head injury inside his home this Sunday morning
Teams from Depac (Community Emergency Service Police Station) and the SIG (General Investigations Sector) of Dourados managed to identify and arrest four people for the murder of José Alves da Silva, 80 years old. The crime took place this Sunday morning (28), at the victim’s home in the Vila Sapé district, in Douradina, 192 kilometers from Campo Grande.
As found out by the Campo Grande News, Lucineia Monteiro dos Santos, 25 years old, Jhonatan Fernando Sobral, 26 years old, and a 14-year-old teenager and her 16-year-old boyfriend were arrested. They were in a gray car inside a rural property between Dourados and Itaporã. The murder weapon, the victim’s own 22-caliber shotgun, was seized from the group.
Initial information the crime was allegedly planned by the teenager out of jealousy of the girl. He stole the elderly man’s gun days before, already thinking about killing him. The boy’s father was heard as a witness and the police continue to investigate the case.
