Arrested after throwing elderly man to the ground and causing his death in Vinhais

UA 26-year-old young man was arrested by the Judiciary Police (PJ) on suspicion of causing the death of an 84-year-old man, in Vinhais.

The crime occurred on April 17, after the defendant went “in the direction of an 84-year-old man, pushing him and throwing him against the ground” on the public road, as detailed by the PJ in a statement sent to newsrooms. .

The young man’s action caused “injuries that led to the death” of the elderly man, according to the same note.

The man will be present for judicial interrogation to apply coercive measures.
