The Civil Police are investigating the murder of hairdresser Fábio Nóbrega, aged 36, who was found dead on the railway line in Cachoeira Paulista, in Vale Histórico, on the morning of last Monday (29). The victim’s body was run over by a train and dragged approximately 20 meters. However, the police suspect that Fábio was already dead and his body was left on the tracks.

The body, which showed signs of strangulation, was found in the Pitéu neighborhood. The driver, upon noticing something strange on the railway line, braked the train and stopped the locomotive. In a search of the place, the corpse was found. According to data from the police report, a shoelace was tied around the victim’s neck, which also showed signs of strangulation.
The body was sent to the IML (Legal Medical Institute) in Guaratinguetá. Registered as a qualified homicide, the case is being investigated by the Civil Police. So far, no one has been arrested.
