Daniel Sancho has been detained since August 7th

Daniel Sancho began to be heard in court for the death and dismemberment of plastic surgeon Edwin Arrieta and guaranteed that he had not premeditated the crimes. This Tuesday, the Spaniard responded to defense questions in Thailand, ensuring that he “didn’t want things to end like that”.

“I’m guilty, but I was Edwin’s hostage. He was obsessed with me. He deceived me, he made me believe that what he wanted was to do business with me, to put money into the company I’m a partner in (…) But that was all lie. The only thing he wanted was me, for me to be his boyfriend”, he says, quoted by the author. El Periodico.

The Spaniard claims that he decided to confess to the crimes because he was afraid of having been followed after committing the crimes. Remember that the chef killed and cut Edwin’s body into 14 parts.

On Wednesday, Daniel Sancho will be faced with questions from the prosecution and the Thai Public Prosecutor’s Office.
