Almost three months after revealing cancer diagnosisKing Charles III returned to public engagements this Tuesday (30). Last week, a source close to the Royal Family revealed that the monarch’s health condition is serious and, therefore, the funeral rites are being updated frequently.
The father of Princes William and Harry assumed the throne on September 8, 2022 with the death of their mother, Elizabeth II, but the coronation ceremony only took place on May 6 of the following year, when his eldest grandchildren (George, Charlotte and Louis) stole the show.
When the agenda resumed, Charles III was accompanied by his wife, Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles, and symbolically visited a cancer treatment center at the Macmilan Cancer Center hospital in London.

In addition to the king, Kate Middleton is also undergoing treatment for the disease, revealed only last month, and scared the royals with a photo this Monday. Charles was photographed smiling at the hospital door and waved to his subjects.
Inside the institution, the king and queen had a conversation with doctors and cancer patients. Charles III also received gifts from a little girl, including a bouquet of flowers, which he held up in good spirits.
