Gasoline, oil and fuel will become more expensive in May, while diesel and butane gas will become cheaper

ARME announced today the update of fuel prices for the month of May.

According to the new table, the prices of Butane, Normal Diesel, Diesel for Electricity and Marine Diesel decreased, while the prices of Gasoline, Oil, Fuel 380 and Fuel 180 increased.

Thus, according to ARME, in May, “normal Diesel will be sold at 128.00 ECV/L; Gasoline, at 154.50 ECV/L; Petroleum, at 141.10 ECV/L; Diesel for Electricity, at 114.30 ECV/L; Marine Gas Oil, at 98.90 ECV/L. Butane gas is sold at 94.20 ECV/L. to be sold in bulk for 143,500 ECV/KG, with: 12.5 kg bottles sold at 1,794.00 ECV; 6 kg bottles at 861.00 ECV; 3 kg bottles at 409.00 ECV; of 55 kg, at 7,895.00 ECV”.

The regulator states that in percentage terms, in the domestic market, the prices of Butane, Normal Gas Oil, Electricity Gas Oil and Marine Gas Oil decreased by 3.63%, 0.23%, 0.26% and 0.30%, respectively, while those of Gasoline, Oil, Fuel Oil 180 and Fuel Oil 380 increased by 4.04%, 0.79%, 2.54% and 2.84%, respectively.

“All in all, it corresponds to an average increase in fuel prices of 0.72%. Compared to the same period last year (May 2023), the average variation in fuel prices corresponds to an increase of 5.31% and, in relation to the variation average over the current year, corresponds to an increase of 2.30%”.
